Aviation Digital Data Service (ADDS) The Aviation Digital Data Service (ADDS) makes available to the aviation community text, digital and graphical forecasts, analyses, and observations of aviation-related weather variables.
Flight Planning
AirNav Airport, navaid, airspace fix, and fuel information. A great tool for flight planning. You can search for nearby airports, view data and comments for FBOs, find a local hotel, compare fuel prices, etc. Airport diagrams, approach plates, and a distance calculator are also available.
AeroPlanner Offers Basic, Premium, and Premium Plus membership to online flight planning and digital charts. Plan flights, view weather, download navigation logs, and file flight plans. Easy-to-use design allows "rubberbanding" of routes along on-screen maps. EAA members receive free basic membership and $10 off premium membership (see EAA web site).
DTC DUATS / CSC DUATS Two companies provide DUATS - the FAA's Direct User Access Terminal System. Direct access to weather briefings, flight planning, and flight plan filing information. If you possess a pilot certificate and current medical, or if you are a student pilot with a current medical and are in the FAA database, you can access this free service.
National Aeronautical Charting Office (NACO) NACO publishes and distributes United States government civil aeronautical charts and flight information publications.

AOPA - Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association AOPA is the largest, most influential general aviation organization in the world. Membership is a must for any pilot! AOPA has many benefits including a monthly magazine, representation in all levels of government, legal advice, information resources, and online safety courses. AOPA Air Safety Foundation The AOPA Air Safety Foundation is dedicated to just one goal—making flying easier and safer for general aviation pilots.
CAP - Civil Air Patrol CAP is the Auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force, open to civilians who wish to serve their communities. Adults can participate as senior members, and youth ages 12-21 can participate as cadets. CAP maintains the world's largest fleet of single-engine piston aircraft. The three missions of CAP are aerospace education, cadet programs, and operations (such as search and rescue).
WAI - Women in Aviation, International WAI encourages the advancement of women in all aviation career fields and interests. Membership is open to both men and women. Members receive a magazine, scholarship opportunities, and access to a mentoring/networking program. WAI has chapters throughout the country and hosts national and regional conferences.
The Ninety-Nines The 99s are an international organization of women pilots. Its missions are to promote world fellowship through flight, provide networking and scholarship opportunities for women, provide aviation education in the community, and preserve the unique history of women in aviation. The 99s offer networking, mentoring, scholarships, job listings, and more.
